Critical Thinking and Media Literacy
In today’s world, we receive information every day from social media, television, news, and the internet. That is why critical thinking and media literacy are very important skills.
**Critical thinking** means thinking carefully, analyzing facts, and not believing everything we see or hear. It helps us make better decisions and avoid being manipulated.
**Media literacy** is the ability to understand how media works and how messages are created. Sometimes, the media shows only part of the truth or tries to change our opinions with images or headlines.
When we use both skills together, we can identify fake news, ask questions, and look for trustworthy sources. This is especially important in school, work, and our daily lives.
By practicing critical thinking and media literacy, we become more responsible and informed people.
